Privacy Policy

1. Your writing

AO3 Formatter formats manuscripts in your browser. File contents and pasted text stay on this device. Closing the tab clears them from the page. We do not receive your fic.

2. The public tool

The live site is a free Hexakin tool. No account. No paid plan. No conversion quota on the public formatter.

3. What we receive

Contact form

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you send. Manuscripts are not part of that form.

Hosting

Vercel hosts the site and keeps ordinary web logs (for example IP address, time, and the page requested) as part of running the server.

Analytics

Vercel Analytics records anonymous page views. We do not load Google Analytics on the public site unless a measurement ID is configured later. If that changes, this page will say so.

4. Third parties

• Vercel — hosting and analytics. Vercel privacy policy.
• FormSubmit — delivers contact form messages. FormSubmit.

5. Cookies

There is no account, so we do not set login cookies. Vercel Analytics may use its own storage for anonymous traffic. The formatter itself does not need cookies to convert a file.

6. UK and EU requests

If we hold personal data you sent (for example a contact message), you can ask to see it, correct it, or delete it. Use the contact form or email jonathan.hill@hillmade.uk.

7. Children

AO3 Formatter is not directed at children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If the public tool starts collecting more data, this page will be updated first.
